Recommendations 88, 89 and 90 in the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety deal specifically with requiring a high standard of governance on aged care providers. Standard 8 codifies the higher standard expected of organisations and the Aged Care Act deals with specific consequences of failures in governance.
